How Do We Get To The Boat? We provide free pick up and drop off service for daily cruise ship travelers. Resort vacationers will need to go to a dock pickup location at West End or West Bay.
Do We Need Previous Snorkel Experience or Snorkel Gear? No. Our trained professionals will assist you during your snorkel adventure, and all gear is included if needed.
Can I snorkel if I am not a strong swimmer? Absolutely! In fact even if you do not swim at all you can still snorkel and be very safe. We offer flotation vests for all our adventurers so you will be safe in the water at all times.
What do we need to bring on the boat? Snorkel adventure: Bring your swim suits, sunglasses, towel, water shoes and marine safe only sunscreen. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture amazing moments! Dinner Cruise: Wear whatever makes you comfortable to enjoy your shoreline tour. Definitely bring your camera to capture the beautiful scenery.
What Happens if it is Raining? Rain alone does not stop our tours. As long as there is no lightning and the waters are calm, we will always keep the adventure going. The Mono Loco is a fully covered boat so you can stay dry and out of the rain if you want.
Can we change clothes on the boat? Yes. There are restrooms on board, however we recommend boarding in swim attire and leisure wear for our dinner cruises.
How long is our tour adventure? The snorkeling tours are 3 hours each (2 daily), and our dinner cruises are 2.5 hours each (2 nightly). See our Adventures page for more details.
Are beverages included in our adventure? All tours include complimentary water and one beverage of choice (alcoholic/non-alcoholic). Additional beverages are available for purchase (we accept Visa M/C and PayPal. No cash except for crew tips). Alcohol is only available for snorkelers once out of the water.
What can we expect to experience during our adventures? We are sure to make your experience with us a memorable one; come rain or shine. During snorkel adventures, you will get to experience Caribbean waters, while encountering marine life such as live coral and beautiful reefs, turtles, porpoises and an abundance of fish (No guarantees. You are entering a living environment that changes daily). For our dinner cruise, you will be able to take in some breathtaking views of the ocean and shoreline of Roatan. During our 7:30 pm dinner cruise, you will be able to witness a stunning sunset (weather permitting).
